That life show

Oh, I forgot the other option, how silly of me.

There is the eternity of burning in hell. Won't that also get boring after a while? I mean sure, excruciating pain for the first few centuries or millenniums, but eventually you'll stop mid-scream and go; 'Hey, this isn't so bad anymore - you demon, could I have some pitchfork in butt over here?'

Besides - what's with this whole supposed gameshow concept of life? Frankly, I'll take my chances with door number three - the mystery prize!

I also find it hard to believe in a deity that would not allow his/her creations to aspire to godhood. A deity that's apparently so insecure that it had to create all of reality to worship it and praise it all the time. "Tell me I'm good." That's a bit like a parent that has his children put down at puberty so that they won't reach adulthood.

And the point is?

So you may believe in the existance of a greater power or not. Either way it all seems rather pointless. What's the deal? Live and die and be wormfood - pointless. Life and die and then go on to some after-life where you sing praise to some deity for the rest of eternity... I think I may rather prefer the wormfood option.
